ROXBURY ELEMENTARY PHYSICAL EDUCATION CLASS (GRADES K - 4)
On your PE day pick one or more of the following activities and describe what you did on the PE Log Form. All activities must be supervised by a parent or guardian. Strive for a total of 30 minutes of activity per day! Any questions please email your PE Teacher:

Grades K-2: NEW!!!Dance Activities: you will be able to control your body while performing dances and activities.

- Daily Fitness Activity (jog/walk): try to get in 5-10 minutes of jogging or running around yard or neighborhood after your exercises (like we do in class)

Grades 3-4: NEW!!!Fitness/Endurance Activities: You will be able to develop your cardio-respiratory endurance at home.

- Weekly activities: Jump Rope Activities
Playing card fitness
Try to increase your endurance by the end of your week: DAY 1: jog or run for 1/4 mile. DAY 2: jog or run for 1/2 mile and DAY 3: JOG/run for 1 mile. If you have trouble completing a one mile jog/run, then walk fast for part of the distance. Good luck!

- Pictures of different ways of kicking a ball
- Footminigolf - try kicking with a small ball into a bucket etc.
- Doorway Soccer! Use a doorway as a soccer goal to practice kicking!
- Tree & Moonball
Grades 2-4 Activities

3. Skee Ball - You can try this inside/outside with any size ball and shoot like a basketball
4. Tennis Ball dribbling - Use a tennis ball to practice dribbling indoors or outdoors!
